Description:
Well, this was an interesting dive. Included in the group was Jason [ been
in the group for a year ], Lisa [ 2nd dive trip with the group ], and Becky [
friend of Lisa's from Pa, hadn't been wet since 1999, but did get a pool dive
in the day before ]. The trip was geared to get Becky undewater and see the
awesome views. Capt Ray and the DM's were advised of the situation. We all
agreed to stay together and the DM would help if needed. In we jumped. Becky
could not go down. She had lost her weight belt. Back to the boat, new
borrowed belt and back into the water. Down she went. At 10 ft she couln't
clear. We went back up and tried several times. No luck - she just couldn't
clear her ears. So Becky was sent back to the boat and the Irishman and Lisa
did a so-lo La-La drift up the reef. Nice reef - not as nice as last weeks -
we were
just not on the right major reef line. But we saw the colors, fish, fish
schools etc. Lisa had borrowed Jason's camera and was takng pics, I was
keeping out of her way and making sure she didn't step into a moray hole. [
The Pics turned out GREAT and will be posted later ]. I had popped my 6 ft
bag again and it was pulling us along quite fast. We started again to run into
some sand and came up!

Description:
Twas a nice drift up the reefline. My dive partner was busy finishing off the
film in the camera. Twas an inexpensive $200 camera with integral strobe.
Those usually pick up one or two good shots per film roll. She got a whole
roll of awesome pics [ we'll try to scan them and put them up this weekend ].
There were a few really good bug shots also. Well again, it was a La-La dive.
Drifting along watching the fish, colors, schools, sponges, corals etc etc etc.
DP running low on air, up we came for the end of a nice day of diving!
With the dive boat leaving the dock at 3:00 PM, we were back around 7 and after
grabing a bite to eat, didn't get home til after 10 PM!!
