Nice dive, we lost the rest of the divers in the low vis. But I've got our own
BIG sausage to pop up when we needed it. We started out on some reef, but
trangressed into the grass and the eastern most fingers of the reef. We need
to kick more to the West to say on the inland side of the reef. Saw lot's of
turtles, nice dive!

Description:
Well in we went, down we went, checked out our dive gear and everybody was gone
[ poor vis ]. So, again we drifed along. The reef was starting to disappear
and I wasn't sure if we should go east of west. On Breaker's you go West [ to
shore ]. We started to go east following some grass, but as that disappeared,
we headed back towards shore. It was all sand. With only 10 min into the
dive, I signaled to go up and get a re-drop. We were back on the bottom at 13
min. Capt said to head north and hit the trench. We did. Lisa, my dp, was
thrilled with the trench. It goes E/W, about 20 ft wide and 10 ft deep and 100
ft or more ft long. The walls are lined with all kinds of things - fish,
spotted moray, bugs! Lisa took some practice with the bugs and her tickle
stick - trying to get the bugs out of the hole. Her score was at least 6 for
6! She'll do good next month in bug season. Saw lot's of turtles. At the end
of the trench, the rest of the dive groups keep heading out to sea. I decided
to turn around and go back with no other divers for disturbances. Saw some
bugs. At the entrance to the trench, we headed north with the current. Saw
one awesome BIG turtle with the biggest Tail I've ever seen on a turtle. Great
dive!
