Description:
Well, it's been a long time since I've dove the Ledges of Jupiter. They are an
awsome dive. And it's been a long time since diving with Capt John and the
Adventure Scuba. They are a highly recommended dive shop and boat. Nine
divers from the Down Under Dive Club drove down to Jupiter for a dive on the
Ledges. Unfortunately, our dive co-ordinator - Karen, could not make the dive.
Karen - you did a great job, it was an awsome dive and lunch afterwards.
We all dove in and headed for the bottom. The ledges began. They go from
about 65 feet to close to 90 feet. This depth change is over 20 to 50 feet span.
There are numerious rocks, canyons and other things to see. There were lot's
of fish, lot's of schools of fish. Our Club Pres - Jeri found one small
turtle. It was about 2 feet long. Hopefully, I'll put up it's picture in the
near future.

thermocline!

Sunny, Clear Blue Sky's - Typial of Florida!!
Air Temp:

Description:
The famous LoggerHead was our second dive. Again, down we went to the same
type of ledges - starting at 65 feet and down to about 80 feet. We saw a total
of at least 5 BIG Turtles. I saw a few that were at least 5 feet long and hundreds
of pounds. There were at least two green moray's, several spotted ones. There
was at least very big spotted moray. Again, lot's of fish, a few bugs!
And after the dive, we all retired to the Jupiter Crab House for lunch and a brew! Great Dive, Great Lunch!
