UPDATED INFO (04-Jun-99)!
Due to the DEMA Dive in (see below) we've decided to dive the Wreck of the Urca
de Lima just north of Pepper Park! Ok, it'll be early! We'll dive from 8 - 9,
then go to Pepper Park for the other dive. That'll mean that we meet No Later
Than 7:30, and get into the water ASAP! Then, since we have all our dive gear
on, we'll go to Pepper Park for the Pictures et al, dive there maybe then -
Dive and then have lunch together!!!
UPDATE - 13-June: We'll meet just north of Pepper Park at 7-8 am (call 951-???? for time & location) and dive the Urca! Then we'll meet Em & group and get the Pepper Park Picture! This is another of the Planned Wreck Dives of the Coast!
This day marks the
184th anniversary of the sinking of the 1715 Plate Fleet
and the deaths of over 700 men, women and children.
Dive at Ambersand Park
at 8:00 am, a little more than a mile south of Sebastian Inlet. This area has
lots of worm reef and ledges near shore. A good way to see just what the fleet
hit as they approached shore with huge waves at their stern.
Meet at 11:30 AM at McLarty Museum, about a mile south of the inlet, for a tour of the museum with placing of a wreath on the outgoing tide to follow at the south catwalk at Sebastian Inlet State Park. Museum admission is $1.00. Then have lunch together!!! We dove Ambersand Park then Treasure Shores Park! Dive Trip Report: - |

LOBSTER DIVE!!
Beach dive for Florida Spiny Lobster.
CHANGE OF LOCATION!
The first dive will be at the Pirate Ship - a few hundred feet south of
Treasure Shore's Park is a small entrance road! Take it to the ocean were
there's supose to be parking! Last weekend, Mel's crew was working this area.
The second dive will be the Boiler Wreck in Vero! Bring 3 bottles (2 of air,
one of rum!). Meet for the first dive at 8 am - that is the divers will be
heading for the water at 8 am!

in the marine sanctuary of Looe Key. Sat afternoon and evening,
