Description:
Well it was a cloudy day [ no sun - bad for taking pics ], but I needed to get
wet and wanted to try out my new dive underwater camera - a 7 Meg Pixel,
Olympus SP-350. There were some opening on the Sunday Morning Dive, so off I
went. The first dive was just south of the Trench off of Breaker's Hotel. We
were told not to stop on the Trench, but continue on and follow Susan the DM.
Well the current was a roaring - estimated at 3 knots on the bottom. Some of
the pics show the DM putting her feet out to slow down. She also was kicking
east very hard to stay on the reef. I used up my 120 cu ft of NITROX in less
than an hour on this shallow 60 ft dive! We saw lot's of Grunts - past them
real fast. Saw turtles, bugs and lots of stuff. Vis wasn't the greatest, but
it was still a fun, but hard working dive.
